Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,

This is brother Frank speaking from the International Mission Centre in Krefeld, Germany. We look again to a weekend with many, many people coming, from all over Europe, and God’s Word was shared. The main subject was “Back to the beginning” and we just have to emphasize, as the first sermon on the day of Pentecost was, so must the last one be, as the first baptism was, so must the last one be administered.

We just shared the things which happened with the believers at the very beginning, in the first generation in apostolic days. And we understand from the Holy Scriptures that this is the time of restoration, the time when all things are brought back to where they had been at the very beginning. We do recognize brother Branham’s ministry to be very, very precise in this direction, to bring all things back to where they were at the beginning. Whether it is the subject on the Godhead, water baptism, the Lord’s Supper, every Bible subject must be proclaimed in the Bible way. No more interpretations, no more explanations, but returning back one hundred per cent to the original pattern of the New Testament church.

We understand what our Lord said to Peter the apostle: “I give you the keys of the kingdom. Whenever you open, it is open, when you close, it is closed. Whatever is revealed to you is revealed.” And beloved brothers and sisters, on the day of Pentecost, this man of God, the man of the first hour, under the direct inspiration of the Holy Spirit, had the first sermon preached, through the power of God, addressing the multitude: “Repent every one of you and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For this promise is unto you and to your children and to those who are still afar off as many as the Lord our God shall call.” This is the original Bible pattern – the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And those who hear this divine message, the Spirit of God begins to deal with them, convicts them of sin and they repent and after repentance they are baptised and after baptism in water they receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That is the original Bible pattern in which we have to continue right until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Then, if you go to Acts chapter 8, here Philip was preaching and those who believed were also baptised as it says here, in verse 15: “Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit: (For as yet he had not fallen upon any one of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands upon them, and they received the Holy Spirit.” As it was on the day of Pentecost, it happened here in Samaria. Then if we go on to chapter 10, when the apostle Peter preached in the house of Cornelius, there again we see how the Lord blessed, saved, filled with the Holy Spirit and they that received such blessings then were also baptised.

If we read here in Acts chapter 10, only verse 46 and 47: “For they heard them speak with other tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that those should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.” Well, again, the Bible pattern. Whether in Jerusalem, in Samaria, here in the house of Cornelius, where the Holy Spirit fell upon those who were gathered to hear the Word of God from the lips of the apostle Peter, the same things happened, the same experiences right throughout the Book of Acts. Beloved, then even in regards to how baptism should be administered, we all understand that both he that baptises and they that are to be baptised they walk into the water at least to the waistline and then the baptism takes place.

And friends, if we read in Acts 8, it is confirmed in Acts 8, we read verse 38: “And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they both went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.” We all believe, as brother Branham said many times, back to the Word of God, back to the teachings, back to how things were done in apostolic days.

I believe with all my heart that through the extraordinary ministry of William Branham, who was the promised prophet according to Malachi chapter 4, confirmed by our Lord in Mathew 17:11 and Mark 9:12, I knew him for ten years, I followed his ministry, I have all his tapes, I know his teachings, I know his ministry, I know his call, I know his commission. There was no man since the days of our Lord on Earth with such a ministry and with such a responsibility. But my question is: what is the result, what is the outcome of that great ministry? Today, there are groups, different groups in different cities believing different things, but to my understanding, the purpose of that message and ministry must be the bride of Christ, restored, fully restored to where the church was at the very beginning and we are now moving into that phase of total restoration before the return of Christ.

May the blessings of Almighty God rest upon you and may the Lord be with you is my prayer in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.
