1 Peter - 1

1. Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

2. Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

2. [2] et qui sont élus selon la prescience de Dieu le Père, par la sanctification de l'Esprit, afin qu'ils deviennent obéissants, et qu'ils participent à l'aspersion du sang de Jésus-Christ: que la grâce et la paix vous soient multipliées!

3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4. To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

6. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

8. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

10. [10] Les prophètes, qui ont prophétisé touchant la grâce qui vous était réservée, ont fait de ce salut l'objet de leurs recherches et de leurs investigations,

11. Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

12. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

12. [12] Il leur fut révélé que ce n'était pas pour eux-mêmes, mais pour vous, qu'ils étaient les dispensateurs de ces choses, que vous ont annoncées maintenant ceux qui vous ont prêché l'Evangile par le Saint-Esprit envoyé du ciel, et dans lesquelles les anges désirent plonger leurs regards.

13. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

13. [13] Annakokáért felövezvén elmétek derekait, mint józanok, tökéletesen reménykedjetek abban a kegyelemben, a melyet a Jézus Krisztus hoz néktek, mikor megjelen.

13. [13] C'est pourquoi, ceignez les reins de votre entendement, soyez sobres, et ayez une entière espérance dans la grâce qui vous sera apportée, lorsque Jésus-Christ apparaîtra.

14. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

14. [14] Mint engedelmes gyermekek ne szabjátok magatokat a ti előbbi kívánságaitokhoz, a melyek tudatlanságotok alatt voltak bennetek;

14. [14] Ako poslušné deti, neprispôsobňujúc sa drievnejším v svojej nevedomosti žiadostiam,

14. [14] Comme des enfants obéissants, ne vous conformez pas aux convoitises que vous aviez autrefois, quand vous étiez dans l'ignorance.

15. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

15. [15] Hanem a miképen szent az, a ki elhívott titeket, ti is szentek legyetek teljes életetekben;

15. [15] Maar soos Hy wat julle geroep het, heilig is, moet julle ook in jul hele lewenswandel heilig word,

15. [15] Mais, puisque celui qui vous a appelés est saint, vous aussi soyez saints dans toute votre conduite,

16. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

16. [16] Mert meg van írva: Szentek legyetek, mert én szent vagyok.

16. [16] omdat daar geskrywe is: Wees heilig, want Ek is heilig.

16. [16] Pretože je napísané: Buďte svätí, lebo ja som svätý!

16. [16] selon qu'il est écrit: Vous serez saints, car je suis saint.

17. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

17. [17] És ha Atyának hívjátok őt, a ki személyválogatás nélkül ítél, kinek- kinek cselekedete szerint, félelemmel töltsétek a ti jövevénységtek idejét:

18. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

19. [19] mais par le sang précieux de Christ, comme d'un agneau sans défaut et sans tache,

20. Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

21. Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

21. [21] A kik ő általa hisztek Istenben, a ki feltámasztotta őt a halálból és dicsőséget adott néki; hogy a ti hitetek reménység is legyen Istenben.

21. [21] qui par lui croyez en Dieu, lequel l'a ressuscité des morts et lui a donné la gloire, en sorte que votre foi et votre espérance reposent sur Dieu.

22. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

22. [22] Lelketeket az igazság iránt való engedelmességben képmutatás nélkül való atyafiúi szeretetre tisztítván meg a Lélek által, egymást tiszta szívből buzgón szeressétek;

22. [22] As julle in gehoorsaamheid aan die waarheid julle siele deur die Gees tot ongeveinsde broederliefde gereinig het, moet julle mekaar vurig liefhê uit 'n rein hart;

22. [22] A tak očistiac svoje duše poslušnosťou pravdy skrze Ducha cieľom nepokryteckého milovania bratstva vrúcne milujte jedni druhých z čistého srdca

22. [22] Ayant purifié vos âmes en obéissant à la vérité pour avoir un amour fraternel sincère, aimez-vous ardemment les uns les autres, de tout votre coeur,

23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

23. [23] Mint a kik újonnan születtetek nem romlandó magból, de romolhatatlanból, Istennek ígéje által, a mely él és megmarad örökké.

23. [23] puisque vous avez été régénérés, non par une semence corruptible, mais par une semence incorruptible, par la parole vivante et permanente de Dieu.

24. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

24. [24] Mert minden test olyan, mint a fű, és az embernek minden dicsősége olyan, mint a fű virága. Megszárad a fű, és virága elhull:

24. [24] Want alle vlees is soos gras, en al die heerlikheid van die mens soos 'n blom van die gras. Die gras verdor en sy blom val af,

24. [24] Lebo každé telo je ako tráva a každá sláva človeka jako kvet trávy; tráva uschla, a jej kvet opadol;

24. [24] Car Toute chair est comme l'herbe, Et toute sa gloire comme la fleur de l'herbe. L'herbe sèche, et la fleur tombe;

25. But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

25. [25] De az Úr beszéde megmarad örökké. Ez pedig az a beszéd, a mely néktek hirdettetett.

25. [25] maar die woord van die Here bly tot in ewigheid. En dit is die woord wat aan julle verkondig is.

25. [25] ale slovo Pánovo zostáva na veky. A to je to slovo, ktoré sa vám zvestovalo.

25. [25] Mais la parole du Seigneur demeure éternellement. Et cette parole est celle qui vous a été annoncée par l'Evangile.
