1. The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.

1. [1] Die Godspraak wat H bakuk, die profeet, gesien het.

1. [1] A teher, a melyet Habakuk próféta látott.

1. [1] Oracle révélé à Habakuk, le prophète.

2. O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!

2. [2] Hoe lank, o HERE, roep ek om hulp, maar U hoor nie; skreeu ek tot U: Geweld! -- maar U help nie?

2. [2] Až dokedy budem, Hospodine, pokorne volať o pomoc, a nevyslyšíš? Kričím k tebe pre ukrutnosť, a nezachraňuješ.

2. [2] Meddig kiáltok még oh Uram, és nem hallgatsz meg! Kiáltozom hozzád az erőszak miatt, és nem szabadítasz meg!

2. [2] Jusqu'à quand, ô Eternel?... J'ai crié, Et tu n'écoutes pas! J'ai crié vers toi à la violence, Et tu ne secours pas!

3. [3] Waarom laat U my onreg sien en aanskou U die moeite! Ja, verwoesting en geweld is voor my oë; en daar is stryd, en twis begin.

3. [3] Prečo mi dávaš vidieť neprávosť, a prečo sa dívaš na trápenie? Zkaza a ukrutnosť je predo mnou, a vzniká spor, dvíha sa svár.

3. [3] Miért láttatsz velem hamisságot, és szemléltetsz nyomorgatást? Pusztítás és erőszak van előttem, per keletkezik és versengés támad!

3. Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.

3. [3] Pourquoi me fais-tu voir l'iniquité, Et contemples-tu l'injustice? Pourquoi l'oppression et la violence sont-elles devant moi? Il y a des querelles, et la discorde s'élève.

4. [4] Aussi la loi n'a point de vie, La justice n'a point de force; Car le méchant triomphe du juste, Et l'on rend des jugements iniques.

4. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.

4. [4] Azért inog a törvény, és nem érvényesül az igaz ítélet; mert gonosz hálózza be az igazat, azért származik hamis ítélet!

4. [4] Preto zmeravel zákon, a súd nevychádza nikdy, lebo bezbožný obkľučuje spravedlivého; preto aj vychádza súd prevrátený.

5. Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

5. [5] Jetez les yeux parmi les nations, regardez, Et soyez saisis d'étonnement, d'épouvante! Car je vais faire en vos jours une oeuvre, Que vous ne croiriez pas si on la racontait.

7. [7] Hrozný je a strašný; od neho vyjde jeho súd a jeho vznešenosť.

7. [7] Il est terrible et formidable; De lui seul viennent son droit et sa grandeur.

7. [7] Rettenetes és iszonyatos ez, maga szerzi törvényét és hatalmát.

7. They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.

8. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.

9. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.

10. And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.

11. Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.

12. [12] N'es-tu pas de toute éternité, Eternel, mon Dieu, mon Saint? Nous ne mourrons pas! O Eternel, tu as établi ce peuple pour exercer tes jugements; O mon rocher, tu l'as suscité pour infliger tes châtiments.

12. Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

13. [13] Si pričistých očí, než aby si hľadel na zlé, a nemôžeš sa dívať na trápenie. Prečo sa dívaš na vierolomných? mlčíš, keď pohlcuje bezbožný toho, kto je spravedlivejší od neho?

13. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

13. [13] Tisztábbak szemeid, hogysem nézhetnéd a gonoszt, és a nyomorgatást nem szemlélheted: miért szemléled [hát] a hitszegőket? [és] hallgatsz, mikor a gonosz elnyeli a nálánál igazabbat?!

13. [13] Tes yeux sont trop purs pour voir le mal, Et tu ne peux pas regarder l'iniquité. Pourquoi regarderais-tu les perfides, et te tairais-tu, Quand le méchant dévore celui qui est plus juste que lui?

14. [14] A učinil si ľudí jako ryby mora, jako plaz, ktorý nemá panovníka.

14. [14] Traiterais-tu l'homme comme les poissons de la mer, Comme le reptile qui n'a point de maître?

14. And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?

15. They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.

15. [15] Všetko to vyťahuje na udici, tiahne to vo svojej sieti a sberá to do svojho vleku, preto sa raduje a plesá.

15. [15] Mindnyáját kivonsza horoggal, gyalomjába keríti, és hálójába takarítja be őket; ezért örül és vígad.

15. [15] Hy trek hulle almal op met die hoek, sleep hulle in sy net en vergader hulle in sy seën; daarom is hy vrolik en juig.

16. Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion is fat, and their meat plenteous.

16. [16] C'est pourquoi il sacrifie à son filet, Il offre de l'encens à ses rets; Car par eux sa portion est grasse, Et sa nourriture succulente.

16. [16] Daarom offer hy aan sy net en laat rook opgaan vir sy seën; want deur hulle is sy aandeel vet en sy spys weelderig.

17. [17] Vajjon azért ürítheti-é gyalmát, és szüntelen ölheti-é a nemzeteket kímélet nélkül?!

17. [17] Či azda pre to bude vyprázdňovať svoju sieť a bude ustavične vraždiť národy a nezľutuje sa?

17. Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?

17. [17] Videra-t-il pour cela son filet, Et toujours égorgera-t-il sans pitié les nations?
