Jonah - 1

1. Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

1. [1] En die woord van die HERE het gekom tot Jona, die seun van Am¡ttai, en gesê:

1. [1] A stalo sa slovo Hospodinovo k Jonášovi, synovi Amittaiho, povediac:

1. [1] És lőn az Úrnak szava Jónáshoz, az Amittai fiához, mondván:

1. [1] La parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Jonas, fils d'Amitthaï, en ces mots:

2. Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

2. [2] Maak jou klaar, gaan heen na die groot stad Ninev, en preek daarteen, want hulle boosheid het opgestyg voor my aangesig.

2. [2] Vstaň, idi do Ninive, toho veľkého mesta, a volaj proti nemu, lebo ich zloba vystúpila hore pred moju tvár.

2. [2] Kelj fel, menj Ninivébe, a nagy városba, és kiálts ellene, mert gonoszságuk felhatolt elémbe!

2. [2] Lève-toi, va à Ninive, la grande ville, et crie contre elle! car sa méchanceté est montée jusqu'à moi.

3. [3] Maar Jona het hom klaargemaak om na Tarsis te vlug, van die aangesig van die HERE af weg; en hy het na Jafo afgegaan en 'n skip gevind wat na Tarsis sou vaar. En hy het die reisgeld daarvoor betaal en daarin geklim om saam met hulle na Tarsis te vaar, van die aangesig van die HERE af weg.

3. But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

3. [3] Et Jonas se leva pour s'enfuir à Tarsis, loin de la face de l'Eternel. Il descendit à Japho, et il trouva un navire qui allait à Tarsis; il paya le prix du transport, et s'embarqua pour aller avec les passagers à Tarsis, loin de la face de l'Eternel.

4. [4] Mais l'Eternel fit souffler sur la mer un vent impétueux, et il s'éleva sur la mer une grande tempête. Le navire menaçait de faire naufrage.

4. But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

4. [4] Az Úr pedig nagy szelet bocsáta a tengerre, és nagy vihar lőn a tengeren, és a hajó már-már töredezik vala.

4. [4] Ale Hospodin vrhol veľký vietor na more, a povstala veľká búrka na mori, takže sa domnievali, že sa loď rozbije.

4. [4] Maar die HERE het 'n sterk wind op die see gewerp, en toe daar 'n groot storm op die see ontstaan, het die skip gevaar geloop om skipbreuk te ly.

5. Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep.

5. [5] Les mariniers eurent peur, ils implorèrent chacun leur dieu, et ils jetèrent dans la mer les objets qui étaient sur le navire, afin de le rendre plus léger. Jonas descendit au fond du navire, se coucha, et s'endormit profondément.

6. So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

6. [6] Le pilote s'approcha de lui, et lui dit: Pourquoi dors-tu? Lève-toi, invoque ton Dieu! peut-être voudra-t-il penser à nous, et nous ne périrons pas.

6. [6] A pristúpil k nemu veliteľ lode a povedal mu: Čo sa ti robí, ospalče? Vstaň, volaj ku svojmu Bohu! Snáď si ten Bôh pomyslí na nás a nezahynieme.

6. [6] De hozzáméne a kormányos mester, és mondá néki: Mi lelt, te nagy alvó? Kelj fel, kiálts a te Istenedhez; hát ha gondol velünk az Isten, és nem veszünk el!

6. [6] Daarop kom die skeepskaptein na hom toe aan en sê vir hom: Wat makeer jou dat jy so vas slaap? Staan op, roep tot jou God! Miskien sal die God aan ons dink, sodat ons nie vergaan nie.

7. [7] Potom povedali druh druhovi: Poďte, a hoďme losy, aby sme zvedeli, pre koho prišlo na nás toto zlé. A tak hádzali losy, a los padol na Jonáša.

7. [7] Et ils se dirent l'un à l'autre: Venez, et tirons au sort, pour savoir qui nous attire ce malheur. Ils tirèrent au sort, et le sort tomba sur Jonas.

7. [7] Egymásnak pedig ezt mondák: Jertek, vessünk sorsot, hogy megtudhassuk: mi miatt van rajtunk e veszedelem? És sorsot vetének, és a sors Jónásra esék.

7. And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.

7. [7] Hulle sê toe vir mekaar: Kom en laat ons loot; dan sal ons weet om wie se ontwil hierdie ramp ons getref het. En hulle het geloot, en die lot het op Jona geval.

8. [8] Mondák azért néki: Kérünk, beszéld el nékünk: mi miatt van rajtunk e veszedelem? Mi a te foglalkozásod és honnan jösz? Melyik a te hazád és miféle népből való vagy te?

8. Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?

8. [8] Alors ils lui dirent: Dis-nous qui nous attire ce malheur. Quelles sont tes affaires, et d'où viens-tu? Quel est ton pays, et de quel peuple es-tu?

9. [9] A riekol im: Ja som Hebrej a bojím sa Hospodina, Boha nebies, ktorý učinil more i suchú zem.

9. [9] Il leur répondit: Je suis Hébreu, et je crains l'Eternel, le Dieu des cieux, qui a fait la mer et la terre.

9. [9] En hy antwoord hulle: Ek is 'n Hebreër, en ek vrees die HERE, die God van die hemel, wat die see en die droë land gemaak het.

9. [9] És monda nékik: Héber vagyok én, és az Urat, az egek Istenét félem én, a ki a tengert és a szárazt teremtette.

9. And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.

10. [10] Vtedy sa náramne báli mužovia a povedali mu: Čo si to urobil?! Pretože sa boli mužovia dozvedeli, že uteká zpred tvári Hospodinovej, lebo im to oznámil.

10. [10] Ces hommes eurent une grande frayeur, et ils lui dirent: Pourquoi as-tu fait cela? Car ces hommes savaient qu'il fuyait loin de la face de l'Eternel, parce qu'il le leur avait déclaré.

10. Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.

10. [10] És megfélemlének az emberek nagy félelemmel, és mondák néki: Mit cselekedtél? Mert megtudták azok az emberek, hogy az Úr színe elől fut, mivelhogy elbeszélé nékik.

10. [10] Toe word die manne baie bang en sê vir hom: Wat het jy nou gedoen! Want die manne het geweet dat hy van die aangesig van die HERE af wegvlug; want hy het hulle dit te kenne gegee.

11. [11] Verder sê hulle vir hom: Wat moet ons met jou doen, sodat die see om ons heen kan bedaar? -- want die see het hoe langer hoe onstuimiger geword.

11. [11] A povedali mu: Čo ti máme urobiť, aby sa nám upokojilo more? Lebo more sa búrilo viac a viac.

11. [11] Ils lui dirent: Que te ferons-nous, pour que la mer se calme envers nous? Car la mer était de plus en plus orageuse.

11. Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.

11. [11] Mondák azután néki: Mit cselekedjünk veled, hogy a tenger megcsendesedjék ellenünk? Mert a tenger háborgása növekedék.

12. [12] Ő pedig monda nékik: Fogjatok meg és vessetek engem a tengerbe, és megcsendesedik a tenger ellenetek; mert tudom én, hogy miattam van ez a nagy vihar rajtatok.

12. And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.

12. [12] Il leur répondit: Prenez-moi, et jetez-moi dans la mer, et la mer se calmera envers vous; car je sais que c'est moi qui attire sur vous cette grande tempête.

12. [12] En hy antwoord hulle: Neem my en gooi my in die see; dan sal die see om julle heen bedaar; want ek weet dat om my ontwil hierdie groot storm oor julle gekom het.

13. Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them.

13. [13] Ces hommes ramaient pour gagner la terre, mais ils ne le purent, parce que la mer s'agitait toujours plus contre eux.

13. [13] A mužovia veslovali všetkými silami, aby sa dostali zpät na sušinu, ale nemohli, lebo more sa vše viac a viac búrilo proti nim.

14. [14] Alors ils invoquèrent l'Eternel, et dirent: O Eternel, ne nous fais pas périr à cause de la vie de cet homme, et ne nous charge pas du sang innocent! Car toi, Eternel, tu fais ce que tu veux.

14. Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

14. [14] Kiáltának azért az Úrhoz, és mondák: Kérünk Uram, kérünk, ne veszszünk el ez ember lelkéért, és ne háríts reánk ártatlan vért; mert te, Uram, úgy cselekedtél, a mint akartad!

14. [14] Toe roep hulle tot die HERE en sê: Ag, HERE, laat ons tog nie vergaan weens die lewe van hierdie man nie, en bring geen onskuldige bloed oor ons nie; want U, HERE, het gedoen na u welbehae.

15. [15] Potom vzali Jonáša a hodili ho do mora, a more prestalo zúriť.

15. [15] Puis ils prirent Jonas, et le jetèrent dans la mer. Et la fureur de la mer s'apaisa.

15. So they look up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.

15. [15] És felragadák Jónást és beveték őt a tengerbe, és megszűnék a tenger az ő háborgásától.

16. Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows.

16. [16] A mužovia sa báli Hospodina veľkou bázňou a obetovali Hospodinovi bitnú obeť a sľubovali sľuby.

17. [17] En die HERE het 'n groot vis beskik om Jona in te sluk; en Jona was drie dae en drie nagte in die ingewande van die vis.

17. Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

17. [17] L'Eternel fit venir un grand poisson pour engloutir Jonas, et Jonas fut dans le ventre du poisson trois jours et trois nuits.
