1 Timothy - 4

1. [1] Ale Duch hovorí výslovne, že v neskorších časoch odstúpia niektorí od viery, ktorí budú počúvať bludných duchov a učenia démonov,

1. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

1. [1] Mais l'Esprit dit expressément que, dans les derniers temps, quelques-uns abandonneront la foi, pour s'attacher à des esprits séducteurs et à des doctrines de démons,

1. [1] A Lélek pedig nyilván mondja, hogy az utolsó időben némelyek elszakadnak a hittől, hitető lelkekre és gonosz lelkek tanításaira figyelmezvén.

2. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

2. [2] deur die geveinsdheid van leuenaars wat gebrandmerk is in hulle eie gewete,

2. [2] Hazug beszédűeknek képmutatása által, kik meg vannak bélyegezve a saját lelkiismeretökben.

2. [2] par l'hypocrisie de faux docteurs portant la marque de la flétrissure dans leur propre conscience,

3. [3] prescrivant de ne pas se marier, et de s'abstenir d'aliments que Dieu a créés pour qu'ils soient pris avec actions de grâces par ceux qui sont fidèles et qui ont connu la vérité.

3. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

4. [4] Lebo každé stvorenie Božie je dobré, a nič nie je na zahodenie, čo sa prijíma z ruky Božej s ďakovaním,

4. [4] Car tout ce que Dieu a créé est bon, et rien ne doit être rejeté, pourvu qu'on le prenne avec actions de grâces,

4. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

4. [4] Want alles wat deur God geskape is, is goed, en niks is verwerplik as dit met danksegging ontvang word nie;

5. For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

6. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

6. [6] En exposant ces choses aux frères, tu seras un bon ministre de Jésus Christ, nourri des paroles de la foi et de la bonne doctrine que tu as exactement suivie.

6. [6] Keď budeš toto predkladať bratom, budeš dobrým služobníkom Ježiša Krista, kŕmeným slovami viery a dobrého učenia, ktoré si doteraz nasledoval.

6. [6] As jy hierdie dinge aan die broeders voorhou, sal jy 'n goeie dienaar van Jesus Christus wees terwyl jy jouself voed met die woorde van die geloof en van die goeie leer waarvan jy 'n navolger geword het.

7. But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

8. [8] Lebo telesné cvičenie je na málo čo užitočné, ale pobožnosť je na všetko užitočná majúc zasľúbenie terajšieho i budúceho života.

8. [8] Mert a test gyakorlásának kevés haszna van; de a kegyesség mindenre hasznos, meglévén benne a jelenvaló és a jövő életnek ígérete.

8. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

8. [8] car l'exercice corporel est utile à peu de chose, tandis que la piété est utile à tout, ayant la promesse de la vie présente et de celle qui est à venir.

9. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

10. [10] Nous travaillons, en effet, et nous combattons, parce que nous mettons notre espérance dans le Dieu vivant, qui est le Sauveur de tous les hommes, principalement des croyants.

10. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

10. [10] Lebo nato i pracujeme i zápasíme i pohanenia nesieme, že sa nadejeme na živého Boha, ktorý je spasiteľom všetkých ľudí a najmä verných.

10. [10] Mert azért fáradunk és szenvedünk szidalmakat, mivelhogy reménységünket vetettük az élő Istenben, a ki minden embernek megtartója, kiváltképen a hívőknek.

11. These things command and teach.

11. [11] Prikazuj to a uč!

11. [11] Beveel en leer hierdie dinge.

11. [11] Déclare ces choses, et enseigne-les.

11. [11] Ezeket hirdessed és tanítsad.

12. [12] Laat niemand jou jonkheid verag nie, maar wees 'n voorbeeld vir die gelowiges in woord, in wandel, in liefde, in gees, in geloof, in reinheid.

12. [12] Nech nikto nepohŕda tvojou mladosťou, ale buď príkladom verných v slove, obcovaní, v láske, v duchu, vo viere, mravnej čistote.

12. [12] Senki a te ifjúságodat meg ne vesse, hanem légy példa a hívőknek a beszédben, a magaviseletben, a szeretetben, a lélekben, a hitben, a tisztaságban.

12. [12] Que personne ne méprise ta jeunesse; mais sois un modèle pour les fidèles, en parole, en conduite, en charité, en foi, en pureté.

12. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

13. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

13. [13] Dokiaľ neprijdem, buď bedlivý čítania, napomínania, učenia.

13. [13] A míg oda megyek, legyen gondod a felolvasásra, az intésre és a tanításra.

13. [13] Jusqu'à ce que je vienne, applique-toi à la lecture, à l'exhortation, à l'enseignement.

13. [13] Totdat ek kom, moet jy aanhou met voorlesing, vermaning en lering.

14. [14] Ne néglige pas le don qui est en toi, et qui t'a été donné par prophétie avec l'imposition des mains de l'assemblée des anciens.

14. [14] Nezanedbávaj daru milosti, ktorý je v tebe a ktorý ti je daný proroctvom so vzkladaním rúk starších sboru.

14. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

15. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

15. [15] Occupe-toi de ces choses, donne-toi tout entier à elles, afin que tes progrès soient évidents pour tous.

16. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

16. [16] Maj pozor na seba i na učenie, zotrvávaj v tom. Lebo keď to budeš robiť, zachrániš aj seba aj tých, ktorí ťa počúvajú.

16. [16] Gondot viselj magadról és a tudományról; maradj meg azokban; mert ezt cselekedvén, mind magadat megtartod, mind a te hallgatóidat.

16. [16] Let op jouself en op die leer; volhard daarin; want deur dit te doen, sal jy jouself red sowel as die wat jou hoor.

16. [16] Veille sur toi-même et sur ton enseignement; persévère dans ces choses, car, en agissant ainsi, tu te sauveras toi-même, et tu sauveras ceux qui t'écoutent.
