2 Chronicles - 18

1. Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honor in abundance, and joined affinity with Ahab.

2. And after certain years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go up with him to Ramothgilead.

3. And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramothgilead? And he answered him, I am as thou art, and my people as thy people; and we will be with thee in the war.

4. And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.

4. [4] Verder het Josafat aan die koning van Israel gesê: Raadpleeg tog eers die woord van die HERE.

4. [4] Puis Josaphat dit au roi d'Israël: Consulte maintenant, je te prie, la parole de l'Eternel.

5. Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king's hand.

5. [5] Le roi d'Israël assembla les prophètes, au nombre de quatre cents, et leur dit: Irons-nous attaquer Ramoth en Galaad, ou dois-je y renoncer? Et ils répondirent: Monte, et Dieu la livrera entre les mains du roi.

6. But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?

6. [6] És monda Jósafát: Nincsen-é itt több prófétája az Úrnak, hogy attól [is] tudakozódhatnánk?

7. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

7. [7] En die koning van Israel antwoord Josafat: Daar is nog een man om die HERE deur hom te raadpleeg; maar,k haat hom, want hy profeteer oor my niks goeds nie, maar altyd onheil; dit is Miga, die seun van Jimla. En Josafat sê: Die koning moet nie so spreek nie!

7. [7] Na to povedal izraelský kráľ Jozafatovi: Je tu ešte jeden muž, skrze ktorého by bolo možno opýtať sa Hospodina; ale ja ho nenávidím, lebo mi nikdy neprorokuje dobrého, ale vždycky zlé. Je to Micheáš, syn Jimlu. Avšak Jozafat povedal: Nech tak nehovorí kráľ!

7. [7] Le roi d'Israël répondit à Josaphat: Il y a encore un homme par qui l'on pourrait consulter l'Eternel; mais je le hais, car il ne me prophétise rien de bon, il ne prophétise jamais que du mal: c'est Michée, fils de Jimla. Et Josaphat dit: Que le roi ne parle pas ainsi!

8. And the king of Israel called for one of his officers, and said, Fetch quickly Micaiah the son of Imla.

8. [8] Szólíta azért az Izráel királya egyet [az ő] szolgái közül, és monda: Hívd ide hamar Mikeást, a Jimla fiát.

8. [8] Daarop roep die koning van Israel 'n hofdienaar en sê: Gaan haal gou vir Miga, die seun van Jimla.

8. [8] Alors le roi d'Israël appela un eunuque, et dit: Fais venir tout de suite Michée, fils de Jimla.

9. And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his throne, clothed in their robes, and they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

9. [9] És az Izráel királya és Jósafát, a Júda királya ott ülnek vala, kiki az ő királyiszékében, [királyi] ruhákba öltözötten; ott ülnek vala Samaria kapuja előtt, a térségen; és a próféták mind prófétálnak vala ő előttök.

9. [9] Medzitým izraelský kráľ a Jozafat, judský kráľ, sedeli každý na svojom tróne, odiati kráľovským rúchom. A sedeli na voľnom priestore pri vchode do brány mesta Samárie. A všetci tí proroci prorokovali pred nimi.

9. [9] Le roi d'Israël et Josaphat, roi de Juda, étaient assis chacun sur son trône, revêtus de leurs habits royaux; ils étaient assis dans la place à l'entrée de la porte de Samarie. Et tous les prophètes prophétisaient devant eux.

10. And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, Thus saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed.

10. [10] Csináltatott vala pedig magának Sédékiás, a Kénaána fia vasszarvakat, és monda: Ezt mondja az Úr: Ezekkel ökleled a Siriabelieket, mígnem megemészted őket!

10. [10] het Sedek¡a, die seun van Kenaäna, vir hom ysterhorings gemaak en gesê: So spreek die HERE: Hiermee sal u die Arameërs stoot totdat hulle vernietig is.

10. [10] A Cedekiáš, syn Kenaánov, si bol spravil železné rohy a povedal: Takto hovorí Hospodin: Týmito budeš drgať Sýrov, dokiaľ len im neučiníš konca.

10. [10] Sédécias, fils de Kenaana, s'était fait des cornes de fer, et il dit: Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Avec ces cornes, tu frapperas les Syriens jusqu'à les détruire.

11. And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

11. [11] A többi próféták is mind ekképen jövendöltek, mondván: Menj fel Rámóth Gileád ellen, szerencsés leszel; mert azt az Úr a király kezébe adja.

11. [11] En so het al die profete geprofeteer en gesê: Trek op na Ramot in G¡lead en u sal voorspoedig wees, en die HERE sal dit in die hand van die koning gee.

11. [11] A všetci proroci prorokovali tak a vraveli: Iď hore do Rámot-gileáda a konaj šťastne, a Hospodin dá do ruky kráľovej.

11. [11] Et tous les prophètes prophétisèrent de même, en disant: Monte à Ramoth en Galaad! tu auras du succès, et l'Eternel la livrera entre les mains du roi.

12. And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good.

12. [12] A követ pedig, a ki elment volt, hogy elhívná Mikeást, szóla néki, mondván: Ímé a próféták egyenlő akarattal jót jövendölnek a királynak; szólj, kérlek, te is úgy, mint azok közül egy, és jövendölj jót.

12. [12] Le messager qui était allé appeler Michée lui parla ainsi: Voici, les prophètes d'un commun accord prophétisent du bien au roi; que ta parole soit donc comme la parole de chacun d'eux! annonce du bien!

13. And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak.

13. [13] Akkor monda Mikeás: Él az Úr, hogy [csak] azt fogom mondani, a mit az én Istenem nékem mondánd!

13. [13] Maar Miga sê: So waar as die HERE leef, wat God my sal sê, dit sal ek spreek!

13. [13] Michée répondit: L'Eternel est vivant! j'annoncerai ce que dira mon Dieu.

14. And when he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand.

14. [14] Mikor azért a király elé jutott, akkor monda a király néki: Mikeás! elmenjünk-é Rámóth Gileád ellen hadba, vagy elhagyjam? És monda: Menjetek el, és jó szerencsétek leszen, kezetekbe adattatnak azok.

14. [14] Toe hy by die koning kom, sê die koning vir hom: Miga, sal ons na Ramot in G¡lead trek om te veg, of sal ek dit laat staan? En hy antwoord: Trek op, en u sal voorspoedig wees, en hulle sal in julle hand gegee word.

14. [14] Lorsqu'il fut arrivé auprès du roi, le roi lui dit: Michée, irons-nous attaquer Ramoth en Galaad, ou dois-je y renoncer? Il répondit: Montez! vous aurez du succès, et ils seront livrés entre vos mains.

15. And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou say nothing but the truth to me in the name of the LORD?

15. [15] És monda a király néki: Hányszor esküdtesselek meg téged, hogy az igaznál egyebet ne mondj nékem az Úr nevében?

15. [15] En die koning sê vir hom: Hoeveel maal moet ek jou besweer dat jy niks as die waarheid in die Naam van die HERE tot my moet spreek nie?

15. [15] A kráľ mu povedal: Koľko ráz ťa mám zaviazať prísahou, že mi nebudeš hovoriť iné ako pravdu v mene Hospodinovom?

15. [15] Et le roi lui dit: Combien de fois me faudra-t-il te faire jurer de ne me dire que la vérité au nom de l'Eternel?

16. Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.

16. [16] Akkor monda: Látám az egész Izráelt elszéledve a hegyeken, mint a juhokat, melyeknek pásztoruk nincsen. És azt mondá az Úr: Nincsen ezeknek urok. Térjen meg kiki az ő házához békességben.

16. [16] Michée répondit: Je vois tout Israël dispersé sur les montagnes, comme des brebis qui n'ont point de berger; et l'Eternel dit: Ces gens n'ont point de maître, que chacun retourne en paix dans sa maison!

17. And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would not prophesy good unto me, but evil?

17. [17] És monda az Izráel királya Jósafátnak: Nemde nem megmondottam-é, hogy nem fog nékem jót jövendölni, hanem rosszat?

17. [17] Toe sê die koning van Israel vir Josafat: Het ek u nie gesê hy profeteer oor my niks goeds nie, maar onheil?

17. [17] Na to povedal izraelský kráľ Jozafatovi: Či som ti nepovedal, že mi nebude prorokovať dobré, ale iba zlé?

17. [17] Le roi d'Israël dit à Josaphat: Ne te l'ai-je pas dit? Il ne prophétise sur moi rien de bon, il ne prophétise que du mal.

18. Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.

18. [18] Ismét monda: Halljátok meg azért az Úr szavát. Látám az Urat ülni az ő királyiszékében, és az egész mennyei sereget jobb és balkeze felől mellette állani.

18. [18] Et Michée dit: Ecoutez donc la parole de l'Eternel! J'ai vu l'Eternel assis sur son trône, et toute l'armée des cieux se tenant à sa droite et à sa gauche.

19. And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner.

19. [19] És monda az Úr: Kicsoda csalja meg Akhábot, az Izráel királyát, hogy felmenjen és elveszszen Rámóth Gileádban? És ki egyet, ki mást szóla.

20. Then there came out a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will entice him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith?

20. [20] Et un esprit vint se présenter devant l'Eternel, et dit: Moi, je le séduirai. L'Eternel lui dit: Comment?

21. And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so.

21. [21] És felele: Kimegyek és leszek hazug lélek az ő összes prófétái szájában. Monda azért: Csald meg és győzd meg, menj ki és cselekedjél úgy.

22. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.

23. Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

24. And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see on that day when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.

25. Then the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;

26. And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.

28. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead.

28. [28] En die koning van Israel en Josafat, die koning van Juda, het opgetrek na Ramot in G¡lead.

28. [28] A tak odišiel hore izraelský kráľ i Jozafat, judský kráľ, proti Rámot-gileáda.

28. [28] Le roi d'Israël et Josaphat, roi de Juda, montèrent à Ramoth en Galaad.

29. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and I will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle.

29. [29] És monda az Izráel királya Jósafátnak: Ruhámat megváltoztatom, és úgy megyek a viadalra; te pedig öltözzél fel ruhádba. És megváltoztatá az Izráel királya az ő ruháját, és menének viadalra.

29. [29] En die koning van Israel het aan Josafat gesê: Ek sal my onkenbaar maak en in die geveg kom; trek u maar u eie klere aan. So het die koning van Israel hom dan onkenbaar gemaak, en hulle het in die geveg gegaan.

29. [29] A izraelský kráľ povedal Jozafatovi: Prestrojiť sa, a tak ísť do boja; ale ty si len obleč svoje rúcho. A tedy sa prestrojil izraelský kráľ, a tak išli do boja.

29. [29] Le roi d'Israël dit à Josaphat: Je veux me déguiser pour aller au combat; mais toi, revêts-toi de tes habits. Et le roi d'Israël se déguisa, et ils allèrent au combat.

30. Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel.

30. [30] Siria királya pedig meghagyta vala az ő szekerei fejedelmeinek, mondván: Ne harczoljatok se kicsiny, se nagy ellen, hanem csak az Izráel királya ellen.

30. [30] En die koning van Aram het die owerstes van sy strydwaens bevel gegee en gesê: Julle moet nie klein of groot beveg nie, net die koning van Israel alleen.

30. [30] A sýrsky kráľ prikázal veliteľom nad svojimi vozmi a riekol: Nebojujte ani s malým ani s veľkým, ale iba s izraelským kráľom samotným.

30. [30] Le roi de Syrie avait donné cet ordre aux chefs de ses chars: Vous n'attaquerez ni petit ni grand, mais vous attaquerez seulement le roi d'Israël.

31. And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.

31. [31] És a mikor meglátták a szekerek fejedelmei Jósafátot, mondának: Ez az Izráel királya! És körülfogták őt, hogy legyőzzék. Akkor felkiálta Jósafát, és az Úr megsegéllé őt, és az Isten azokat elfordítá tőle;

31. [31] En sodra die owerstes van die waens Josafat sien, sê hulle: Dit is die koning van Israel! En hulle het hom omsingel om te veg; maar Josafat het geskreeu, en die HERE het hom gehelp, en God het hulle van hom af weggelok.

31. [31] A bolo, keď uvideli velitelia nad vozmi Jozafata, že riekli: To je izraelský kráľ! A obrátili sa dookola proti nemu bojovať. Vtedy skríkol Jozafat, a Hospodin mu pomohol, a Bôh ich odvábil od neho.

31. [31] Quand les chefs des chars aperçurent Josaphat, ils dirent: C'est le roi d'Israël. Et ils l'entourèrent pour l'attaquer. Josaphat poussa un cri, et l'Eternel le secourut, et Dieu les écarta de lui.

32. For it came to pass, that, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back again from pursuing him.

32. [32] Mert mikor látták a szekerek fejedelmei, hogy nem az Izráel királya, ott hagyták.

32. [32] En toe die owerstes van die waens sien dat dit nie die koning van Israel was nie, draai hulle agter hom weg.

32. [32] A stalo sa, keď uvideli velitelia nad vozmi, že to nie je izraelský kráľ, že sa obrátili preč od neho.

32. [32] Les chefs des chars, voyant que ce n'était pas le roi d'Israël, s'éloignèrent de lui.

33. And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

33. [33] Egy férfi pedig kifeszíté kézívét csak úgy találomra, és találá az Izráel királyát a pánczél és a kapocs között. És ő monda az ő kocsisának: Fordulj meg, és vígy ki engem a táborból, mert megsebesültem.

33. [33] V tom nejaký muž natiahol lučište vo svojej prostote a postrelil izraelského kráľa tam, kde sa pancier spojuje. Preto povedal vozkovi: Obráť svoje ruky a vyvez ma z vojska, lebo som nemocný.

33. [33] Alors un homme tira de son arc au hasard, et frappa le roi d'Israël au défaut de la cuirasse. Le roi dit à celui qui dirigeait son char: Tourne, et fais-moi sortir du champ de bataille, car je suis blessé.

34. And the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the even: and about the time of the sun going down he died.

34. [34] És az ütközet mind erősebb lett azon a napon, és az Izráel királya az ő szekerében állott a Siriabeliek ellen estvéig, és naplementekor meghala.

34. [34] En die geveg het die dag toegeneem, terwyl die koning hom staande hou in die strydwa teenoor die Arameërs tot die aand toe; maar teen sononder het hy gesterwe.

34. [34] A keď sa rozmohol boj toho dňa, premáhal sa izraelský kráľ a stál na voze naproti Sýrom až do večera a zomrel o čase, keď zapádalo slnko.

34. [34] Le combat devint acharné ce jour-là. Le roi d'Israël fut retenu dans son char, en face des Syriens, jusqu'au soir, et il mourut vers le coucher du soleil.
