Acts - 8

1. And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

1. [1] Saul avait approuvé le meurtre d'Etienne. Il y eut, ce jour-là, une grande persécution contre l'Eglise de Jérusalem; et tous, excepté les apôtres, se dispersèrent dans les contrées de la Judée et de la Samarie.

2. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

3. As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

4. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

5. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

6. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

7. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

7. [7] Car des esprits impurs sortirent de plusieurs démoniaques, en poussant de grands cris, et beaucoup de paralytiques et de boiteux furent guéris.

8. And there was great joy in that city.

8. [8] És lőn nagy öröm abban a városban.

8. [8] En daar was groot blydskap in daardie stad.

8. [8] Et il y eut une grande joie dans cette ville.

9. But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

9. [9] Egy Simon nevű ember pedig már előbb gyakorolta abban a városban az ördögi tudományt és elámította Samária népét, magát valami nagynak állítván:

9. [9] Il y avait auparavant dans la ville un homme nommé Simon, qui, se donnant pour un personnage important, exerçait la magie et provoquait l'étonnement du peuple de la Samarie.

10. To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

10. [10] Kire mindnyájan figyeltek, kicsinytől nagyig, mondván: Ez az Istennek ama nagy ereje!

11. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

11. [11] Azért figyeltek pedig rá, mert sok időn át az ördögi mesterségekkel elámította őket.

12. But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

12. [12] Ale keď uverili Filipovi, ktorý im zvestoval o kráľovstve Božom a o mene Pána Ježiša Krista, krstili sa mužovia a ženy.

12. [12] Mais, quand ils eurent cru à Philippe, qui leur annonçait la bonne nouvelle du royaume de Dieu et du nom de Jésus-Christ, hommes et femmes se firent baptiser.

13. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

13. [13] Simon lui-même crut, et, après avoir été baptisé, il ne quittait plus Philippe, et il voyait avec étonnement les miracles et les grands prodiges qui s'opéraient.

14. Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

14. [14] Les apôtres, qui étaient à Jérusalem, ayant appris que la Samarie avait reçu la parole de Dieu, y envoyèrent Pierre et Jean.

15. Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

15. [15] Kik mikor lementek, könyörögtek érettük, hogy vegyenek Szent Lelket:

15. [15] Hulle het afgekom en vir hulle gebid, dat hulle die Heilige Gees mag ontvang,

15. [15] Ceux-ci, arrivés chez les Samaritains, prièrent pour eux, afin qu'ils reçussent le Saint-Esprit.

16. (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17. Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

17. [17] Alors Pierre et Jean leur imposèrent les mains, et ils reçurent le Saint-Esprit.

18. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

18. [18] Mikor pedig látta Simon, hogy az apostolok kézrátétele által adatik a Szent Lélek, megkínálá őket pénzzel,

18. [18] Lorsque Simon vit que le Saint-Esprit était donné par l'imposition des mains des apôtres, il leur offrit de l'argent,

19. Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

20. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

20. [20] Mais Pierre lui dit: Que ton argent périsse avec toi, puisque tu as cru que le don de Dieu s'acquérait à prix d'argent!

21. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

21. [21] Nincsen néked részed, sem örökséged e dologban, mert a te szíved nem igaz az Isten előtt.

21. [21] Jy het geen deel of lot in hierdie saak nie, want jou hart is nie reg voor God nie.

21. [21] Nemáš dielu ani losu v tejto veci, lebo tvoje srdce nie je priame pred Bohom.

21. [21] Il n'y a pour toi ni part ni lot dans cette affaire, car ton coeur n'est pas droit devant Dieu.

22. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

22. [22] Térj meg azért ezen gonoszságodból, és kérjed az Istent, ha talán megbocsáttatik néked szívednek gondolatja.

22. [22] Bekeer jou dan van hierdie boosheid van jou, en bid God of die gedagte van jou hart jou miskien vergewe mag word.

22. [22] Repens-toi donc de ta méchanceté, et prie le Seigneur pour que la pensée de ton coeur te soit pardonnée, s'il est possible;

23. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

23. [23] Mert látom, hogy te keserűséges méregben és álnokságnak kötelékében leledzel.

23. [23] Want ek sien dat jy in 'n gal van bitterheid en bande van ongeregtigheid is.

24. Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the LORD for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

24. [24] Felelvén pedig Simon, monda: Könyörögjetek ti énérettem az Úrnak, hogy semmi azokból, a miket mondtatok, reám ne jőjjön.

24. [24] Maar Simon het geantwoord en gesê: Bid julle tot die Here vir my, sodat niks van wat julle gesê het, oor my mag kom nie.

24. [24] A Šimon odpovedal a riekol: Proste vy za mňa u Pána, žeby neprišlo na mňa nič z toho, čo ste povedali.

24. [24] Simon répondit: Priez vous-mêmes le Seigneur pour moi, afin qu'il ne m'arrive rien de ce que vous avez dit.

25. And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

25. [25] Azok annakokáért, minekutána bizonyságot tettek, és hirdették az Úrnak ígéjét, megtérének Jeruzsálembe, és a Samaritánusoknak sok falujában prédikálák az evangyéliomot.

25. [25] Après avoir rendu témoignage à la parole du Seigneur, et après l'avoir prêchée, Pierre et Jean retournèrent à Jérusalem, en annonçant la bonne nouvelle dans plusieurs villages des Samaritains.

26. And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

26. [26] Az Úrnak angyala pedig szóla Filepnek, mondván: Kelj fel és menj el dél felé, arra az útra, mely Jeruzsálemből Gázába megy alá. Járatlan ez.

26. [26] En 'n engel van die Here het met Filippus gespreek en gesê: Staan op en gaan na die suide op die pad wat afloop van Jerusalem na Gasa. Dit is 'n eensame pad.

27. And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

27. [27] És felkelvén, elméne. És ímé egy szerecsen férfiú, Kandakénak, a szerecsenek királyasszonyának hatalmas komornyikja, ki az ő egész kincstárának felügyelője vala, ki feljött imádkozni Jeruzsálembe;

27. [27] Toe het hy opgestaan en gegaan. En daar was 'n man van Ethiopië, 'n hofdienaar, 'n staatsamptenaar van Kandac,, die koningin van die Ethiopiërs, wat oor al haar skatte was en na Jerusalem gekom het om te aanbid.

27. [27] Il se leva, et partit. Et voici, un Ethiopien, un eunuque, ministre de Candace, reine d'Ethiopie, et surintendant de tous ses trésors, venu à Jérusalem pour adorer,

28. Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

29. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30. And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

30. [30] A keď pribehol Filip, počul ho, že číta proroka Izaiáša, a povedal: A či aj rozumieš, čo čítaš?

30. [30] Philippe accourut, et entendit l'Ethiopien qui lisait le prophète Esaïe. Il lui dit: Comprends-tu ce que tu lis?

31. And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

31. [31] Ő pedig monda: Mimódon érthetném, ha csak valaki meg nem magyarázza nékem? És kéré Filepet, hogy felhágván, üljön mellé.

31. [31] En hy antwoord: Hoe kan ek tog as niemand my die weg wys nie? Toe vra hy Filippus om op te klim en by hom te kom sit.

31. [31] Il répondit: Comment le pourrais-je, si quelqu'un ne me guide? Et il invita Philippe à monter et à s'asseoir avec lui.

32. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

32. [32] Az írásnak helye pedig, melyet olvasott, ez vala: Mint juh viteték mészárszékre, és mint a bárány az ő nyírője előtt néma, azonképen nem nyitotta fel az ő száját.

32. [32] Le passage de l'Ecriture qu'il lisait était celui-ci: Il a été mené comme une brebis à la boucherie; Et, comme un agneau muet devant celui qui le tond, Il n'a point ouvert la bouche.

33. In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34. And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35. Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

35. [35] En Filippus het sy mond geopen en van hierdie Skrif af begin en die evangelie van Jesus aan hom verkondig.

35. [35] Alors Philippe, ouvrant la bouche et commençant par ce passage, lui annonça la bonne nouvelle de Jésus.

36. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

36. [36] Mikor pedig menének az úton, jutának egy vízhez; és monda a komornyik: Ímhol a víz: mi gátol, hogy megkeresztelkedjem?

36. [36] En terwyl hulle voortreis op die pad, kom hulle by water; en die hofdienaar sê vir hom: Daar is water; wat verhinder my om gedoop te word?

36. [36] A jako tak išli cestou, prišli k akejsi vode, a eunúch povedal: Hľa, voda; čo mi prekáža dať sa pokrstiť?

36. [36] Comme ils continuaient leur chemin, ils rencontrèrent de l'eau. Et l'eunuque dit: Voici de l'eau; qu'est-ce qui empêche que je sois baptisé?

37. And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

37. [37] Filep pedig monda: Ha teljes szívből hiszel, meglehet. Az pedig felelvén, monda: Hiszem, hogy a Jézus Krisztus az Isten Fia.

37. [37] Toe sê Filippus: As u glo met u hele hart, is dit geoorloof. En hy antwoord en sê: Ek glo dat Jesus Christus die Seun van God is.

37. [37] A Filip riekol: Ak veríš z celého srdca, slobodno. A odpovedal a riekol: Verím, že Ježiš Kristus je syn Boží.

37. [37] Philippe dit: Si tu crois de tout ton coeur, cela est possible. L'eunuque répondit: Je crois que Jésus-Christ est le Fils de Dieu.

38. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

38. [38] És megállítá a szekeret; és leszállának mindketten a vízbe, Filep és a komornyik; és megkeresztelé őt.

39. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

39. [39] Mikor pedig a vízből feljöttek, az Úrnak Lelke elragadá Filepet; és többé nem látta őt a komornyik, mert [tovább] méne az ő útján örömmel.

39. [39] En toe hulle uit die water opklim, het die Gees van die Here Filippus skielik weggevoer, en die hofdienaar het hom nie meer gesien nie, want hy het sy weg met blydskap gereis.

39. [39] A keď vyšli z vody, Duch Pánov uchvátil Filipa, a eunúch ho viacej nevidel, lebo išiel svojou cestou radujúc sa.

39. [39] Quand ils furent sortis de l'eau, l'Esprit du Seigneur enleva Philippe, et l'eunuque ne le vit plus. Tandis que, joyeux, il poursuivait sa route,

40. But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

40. [40] Filep pedig találtaték Azótusban; és széjjeljárva hirdeté az evangyéliomot minden városnak, míglen Czézáreába juta.

40. [40] Maar Filippus is in Asdod gevind. En hy het die land deurgegaan en die evangelie verkondig in al die stede, totdat hy in Cesar,a gekom het.

40. [40] A Filip sa našiel v Azóte a chodiac zvestoval všetkým tým mestám evanjelium, až prišiel do Cezáree.

40. [40] Philippe se trouva dans Azot, d'où il alla jusqu'à Césarée, en évangélisant toutes les villes par lesquelles il passait.
