Amos - 4

1. Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.

1. [1] Hoor hierdie woord, koeie van Basan, wat op die gebergte van Samar¡a is! Wat die armes verdruk, die behoeftiges hard behandel; wat aan hulle here sê: Bring aan en laat ons drink!

2. The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.

4. [4] Kom na Bet-el, en sondig! Na Gilgal, sondig nog meer! En bring julle slagoffers in die môre en julle tiendes al om die derde dag.

4. Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:

5. And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

6. [6] A preto som i ja vám dal čistotu zubov vo všetkých vašich mestách a nedostatok chleba na všetkých vašich miestach, avšak nenavrátili ste sa ku mne, hovorí Hospodin.

6. And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

7. [7] Et moi, je vous ai refusé la pluie, Lorsqu'il y avait encore trois mois jusqu'à la moisson; J'ai fait pleuvoir sur une ville, Et je n'ai pas fait pleuvoir sur une autre ville; Un champ a reçu la pluie, Et un autre qui ne l'a pas reçue s'est desséché.

7. [7] Alhoewel k die reën van julle teruggehou het toe dit nog drie maande voor die oestyd was en op die een stad laat reën maar op die ander nie laat reën het nie, die een stuk land reën gekry het, maar die ander waarop geen reën geval het nie, verdor het;

7. And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

8. [8] Deux, trois villes sont allées vers une autre pour boire de l'eau, Et elles n'ont point apaisé leur soif. Malgré cela, vous n'êtes pas revenus à moi, dit l'Eternel.

8. So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

8. [8] És két-három város tántorgott egy-egy városba, vizet inni, de meg nem elégíttettek; és még sem tértetek vissza hozzám, ezt mondja az Úr.

9. [9] Ek het julle met brandkoring en met heuningdou swaar getref, baie van julle tuine en julle wingerde en julle vyebome en julle olyfbome het die sprinkaan verslind -- nogtans het julle jul tot My nie bekeer nie, spreek die HERE.

9. I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

9. [9] Je vous ai frappés par la rouille et par la nielle; Vos nombreux jardins, vos vignes, vos figuiers et vos oliviers Ont été dévorés par les sauterelles. Malgré cela, vous n'êtes pas revenus à moi, dit l'Eternel.

10. [10] J'ai envoyé parmi vous la peste, comme en Egypte; J'ai tué vos jeunes gens par l'épée, Et laissé prendre vos chevaux; J'ai fait monter à vos narines l'infection de votre camp. Malgré cela, vous n'êtes pas revenus à moi, dit l'Eternel.

10. [10] Poslal som na vás mor ako kedysi na Egypt, pobil som vašich mládencov mečom vydajúc zároveň vaše kone do zajatia a spôsobil som to, aby vystúpil smrad vašich táborov, a to do vašich nozdier, a nenavrátili ste sa ku mne, hovorí Hospodin.

10. [10] Ek het die pes onder julle gestuur, op die manier van Egipte; Ek het julle jongmanne met die swaard gedood saam met die wegvoering van julle perde; en Ek het die stank van julle laer laat opstyg, ja, tot in julle neus -- nogtans het julle jul tot My nie bekeer nie, spreek die HERE.

10. I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

11. [11] Je vous ai bouleversés, Comme Sodome et Gomorrhe, que Dieu détruisit; Et vous avez été comme un tison arraché de l'incendie. Malgré cela, vous n'êtes pas revenus à moi, dit l'Eternel...

11. [11] Podvrátil som niektorých medzi vami tak, ako čo Bôh podvrátil Sodomu a Gomoru, a boli ste jako hlaveň, vytrhnutá z ohňa, a nenavrátili ste sa ku mne, hovorí Hospodin.

11. I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

11. [11] Felforgattam közületek [többeket,] a mint felforgatta Isten Sodomát és Gomorát, és olyanokká lettetek, mint a tűzből kikapott üszök; és még sem tértetek vissza hozzám, ezt mondja az Úr.

11. [11] Ek het julle omgekeer soos God Sodom en Gomorra omgekeer het, sodat julle soos 'n stuk brandhout was wat uit die vuur geruk is -- nogtans het julle jul tot My nie bekeer nie, spreek die HERE.

12. Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

12. [12] Preto ti tak učiním, Izraelu, a preto, že ti to učiním, priprav sa vústrety svojmu Bohu, Izraelu!

12. [12] Azért hát ekképen cselekeszem veled Izráel! Minthogy pedig ekképen cselekeszem veled, készülj Istened elé, oh Izráel!

12. [12] Daarom sal Ek so met jou handel, o Israel; omdat Ek so met jou sal handel -- maak jou klaar om jou God te ontmoet, o Israel!

12. [12] C'est pourquoi je te traiterai de la même manière, Israël; Et puisque je te traiterai de la même manière, Prépare-toi à la rencontre de ton Dieu, O Israël!

13. For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.

13. [13] Lebo hľa, ten, ktorý utvoril vrchy a stvoril vietor a ktorý oznamuje človekovi, čo myslí; ktorý činí rannú zoru mrákavou a kráča po výšinách zeme, Hospodin, Bôh Zástupov, je jeho meno!

13. [13] Mert ímé, a ki hegyeket alkotott és a szelet teremtette, és a ki megjelenti az embernek az ő gondolatját, a ki a hajnalt sötétséggé változtatja és a föld magaslatain lépdel: az Úr ő, a Seregeknek Istene az ő neve.

13. [13] Want kyk, Hy wat die berge formeer en die wind skep en aan die mens sy gedagte bekend maak, wat die dageraad duisternis maak, wat op die hoogtes van die aarde wandel, HERE, God van die leërskare, is sy Naam!

13. [13] Car voici celui qui a formé les montagnes et créé le vent, Et qui fait connaître à l'homme ses pensées, Celui qui change l'aurore en ténèbres, Et qui marche sur les hauteurs de la terre: Son nom est l'Eternel, le Dieu des armées.
