John - 19

1. Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.

2. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,

4. Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.

5. Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!

5. [5] Jésus sortit donc, portant la couronne d'épines et le manteau de pourpre. Et Pilate leur dit: Voici l'homme.

6. When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

6. [6] Mikor azért látják vala őt a papifejedelmek és a szolgák, kiáltozának, mondván: Feszítsd meg, feszítsd meg! Monda nékik Pilátus: Vigyétek el őt ti és feszítsétek meg, mert én nem találok bűnt ő benne.

6. [6] En toe die owerpriesters en die dienaars Hom sien, skreeu hulle en sê: Kruisig, kruisig Hom! Pilatus sê vir hulle: Neem julle Hom en kruisig Hom, want ek vind geen skuld in Hom nie.

7. The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

8. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;

9. And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.

10. Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?

11. Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

12. And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.

12. [12] Ettől fogva igyekszik vala Pilátus őt szabadon bocsátani; de a zsidók kiáltozának, mondván: Ha ezt szabadon bocsátod, nem vagy a császár barátja; valaki magát királylyá teszi, ellene mond a császárnak!

13. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.

13. [13] Pilátus azért, a mikor hallja vala e beszédet, kihozá Jézust, és űle a törvénytevő székbe azon a helyen, a melyet Kőpadolatnak hívtak, zsidóul pedig Gabbathának.

13. [13] Pilate, ayant entendu ces paroles, amena Jésus dehors; et il s'assit sur le tribunal, au lieu appelé le Pavé, et en hébreu Gabbatha.

14. And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

14. [14] Vala pedig a husvét péntekje; és mintegy hat óra. És monda a zsidóknak: Ímhol a ti királyotok!

14. [14] En dit was die voorbereiding vir die pasga en omtrent die sesde uur. Toe sê hy vir die Jode: Dr is julle Koning!

14. [14] C'était la préparation de la Pâque, et environ la sixième heure. Pilate dit aux Juifs: Voici votre roi.

15. But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

15. [15] Azok pedig kiáltoznak vala: Vidd el, vidd el, feszítsd meg őt! Monda nékik Pilátus: A ti királyotokat feszítsem meg? Felelének a papifejedelmek: Nem királyunk van, hanem császárunk!

15. [15] Maar hulle skreeu: Neem weg, neem weg, kruisig Hom! Pilatus sê vir hulle: Moet ek julle Koning kruisig? Die owerpriesters antwoord: Ons het geen koning behalwe die keiser nie.

15. [15] Ale oni skríkli: Preč, preč s ním! Ukrižuj ho! A Pilát im povedal: Či mám ukrižovať vášho kráľa? Ale najvyšší kňazi odpovedali: Nemáme kráľa okrem cisára.

15. [15] Mais ils s'écrièrent: Ote, ôte, crucifie-le! Pilate leur dit: Crucifierai-je votre roi? Les principaux sacrificateurs répondirent: Nous n'avons de roi que César.

16. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

16. [16] Akkor azért nékik adá őt, hogy megfeszíttessék. Átvevék azért Jézust és elvivék.

17. And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

18. Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

19. And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.

19. [19] Pilátus pedig czímet is íra, és feltevé a keresztfára. Ez vala pedig az írás: A NÁZÁRETI JÉZUS, A ZSIDÓK KIRÁLYA.

19. [19] En Pilatus het ook 'n opskrif geskrywe en dit op die kruis gesit; en daar was geskrywe: JESUS, DIE NASARNER, DIE KONING VAN DIE JODE.

19. [19] A Pilát napísal i nápis a položil na kríž. A bolo napísané: Ježiš Nazarejský, kráľ Židov.

19. [19] Pilate fit une inscription, qu'il plaça sur la croix, et qui était ainsi conçue: Jésus de Nazareth, roi des Juifs.

20. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.

20. [20] Sokan olvasák azért e czímet a zsidók közül; mivelhogy közel vala a városhoz az a hely, a hol Jézus megfeszíttetett vala: és héberül, görögül és latinul vala [az] írva.

20. [20] Hierdie opskrif dan het baie van die Jode gelees, omdat die plek waar Jesus gekruisig is, naby die stad was; en dit was geskrywe in Hebreeus en Grieks en Latyn.

20. [20] A ten nápis čítali mnohí zo Židov, lebo miesto, kde bol Ježiš ukrižovaný, bolo blízko mesta. A bolo napísané hebrejsky, grécky a latinsky.

20. [20] Beaucoup de Juifs lurent cette inscription, parce que le lieu où Jésus fut crucifié était près de la ville: elle était en hébreu, en grec et en latin.

21. Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

21. [21] Mondának azért Pilátusnak a zsidók papifejedelmei: Ne írd: A zsidók királya; hanem hogy ő mondotta: A zsidók királya vagyok.

21. [21] En die owerpriesters van die Jode het vir Pilatus gesê: Moenie skrywe: Die Koning van die Jode nie; maar dat Hy gesê het: Ek is die Koning van die Jode.

21. [21] Vtedy vraveli najvyšší kňazi Židov Pilátovi: Nepíš: Kráľ Židov, ale že on povedal: Som kráľ Židov.

21. [21] Les principaux sacrificateurs des Juifs dirent à Pilate: N'écris pas: Roi des Juifs. Mais écris qu'il a dit: Je suis roi des Juifs.

22. Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

22. [22] Felele Pilátus: A mit megírtam, megírtam.

22. [22] Pilatus het geantwoord: Wat ek geskryf het, het ek geskrywe.

23. Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

23. [23] Les soldats, après avoir crucifié Jésus, prirent ses vêtements, et ils en firent quatre parts, une part pour chaque soldat. Ils prirent aussi sa tunique, qui était sans couture, d'un seul tissu depuis le haut jusqu'en bas.

24. They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

24. [24] Mondának azért egymásnak: Ezt ne hasogassuk el, hanem vessünk sorsot reá, kié legyen. Hogy beteljesedjék az írás, a mely ezt mondja: Megosztoztak ruháimon, és a köntösömre sorsot vetettek. A vitézek tehát ezeket művelék.

25. Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

25. [25] A Jézus keresztje alatt pedig ott állottak vala az ő anyja, és az ő anyjának nőtestvére; Mária, a Kleopás [felesége,] és Mária Magdaléna.

25. [25] En by die kruis van Jesus het gestaan sy moeder en sy moeder se suster, Maria, die vrou van Klopas, en Maria Magdal,na.

25. [25] Près de la croix de Jésus se tenaient sa mère et la soeur de sa mère, Marie, femme de Clopas, et Marie de Magdala.

26. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

26. [26] Jézus azért, mikor látja vala, hogy [ott] áll az ő anyja és az a tanítvány, a kit szeret vala, monda az ő anyjának: Asszony, ímhol a te fiad!

26. [26] En toe Jesus sy moeder sien en die dissipel wat Hy liefgehad het, by haar staan, sê Hy vir sy moeder: Vrou, dr is u seun!

26. [26] A keď videl Ježiš matku aj učeníka, ktorého miloval, že stojí tam, povedal svojej matke: Ženo, hľa, tvoj syn!

26. [26] Jésus, voyant sa mère, et auprès d'elle le disciple qu'il aimait, dit à sa mère: Femme, voilà ton fils.

27. Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

27. [27] Azután monda a tanítványnak: Ímhol a te anyád! És ettől az órától magához fogadá azt az a tanítvány.

28. After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

29. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

30. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

31. The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

33. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:

33. [33] Mikor pedig Jézushoz érének és látják vala, hogy ő már halott, nem törék meg az ő lábszárait;

37. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

37. [37] Másutt ismét így szól az írás: Néznek majd arra, a kit általszegeztek.

37. [37] En weer sê 'n ander Skrif: Hulle sal sien in wie hulle gesteek het.

37. [37] A zase iné písmo hovorí: Uvidia toho, ktorého prebodli!

37. [37] Et ailleurs l'Ecriture dit encore: Ils verront celui qu'ils ont percé.

38. And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.

38. [38] Ezek után pedig kéré Pilátust az arimathiai József (a ki a Jézus tanítványa vala, de csak titokban, a zsidóktól való félelem miatt), hogy levehesse a Jézus testét. És megengedé Pilátus. Elméne azért és levevé a Jézus testét.

38. [38] En nhierdie dinge het Josef van Arimath,a, wat 'n dissipel van Jesus was, maar in die geheim, uit vrees vir die Jode, vir Pilatus gevra of hy die liggaam van Jesus mag wegneem. En Pilatus het dit toegelaat. Hy het toe gegaan en die liggaam van Jesus weggeneem.

38. [38] Potom poprosil Piláta Jozef z Arimátie, ktorý bol učeníkom Ježišovým, ale tajným zo strachu pred Židmi, že by smel sňať telo Ježišovo. A Pilát dovolil. A tak prišiel a sňal telo Ježišovo.

38. [38] Après cela, Joseph d'Arimathée, qui était disciple de Jésus, mais en secret par crainte des Juifs, demanda à Pilate la permission de prendre le corps de Jésus. Et Pilate le permit. Il vint donc, et prit le corps de Jésus.

39. And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

39. [39] Eljöve pedig Nikodémus is (a ki éjszaka ment vala először Jézushoz), hozván mirhából és áloéból való kenetet, mintegy száz fontot.

39. [39] Nicodème, qui auparavant était allé de nuit vers Jésus, vint aussi, apportant un mélange d'environ cent livres de myrrhe et d'aloès.

40. Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.

42. There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
